| My work is the
exploration of the fundamentals of painting as an art discipline,
reconfiguring basic concepts such as space, scale, form, light
and in particular, colour within the context of phenomenological
boundaries of visual perception.
It deals with the
concept of revealing something of the precarious relationship
between the act of painting and seeing, through the immanence
of colour and ambiguous nature of our experiences, resulting
in something deeply experimental and self-reflexive; a place
of chance events and intended possibilities, through the unpredictable
process of painting.
